Herb oversees project development, budgeting and financing, property acquisition and leasing, as well as construction management aspects of Aspen Creek Partners operations.

Herb was formerly an executive officer with a large multi-national services company. An attorney by training, Herb spent 20 years managing large merger and acquisition, financing and industrial and commercial facility development projects. He also has several years experience in real estate acquisition and development as a partner in a real estate development firm in Northwest Illinois. He is a member of the Northern Illinois Home Builders Association.

Herb is also active in community and charitable affairs, serving as Vice President of the Board of Trustees of Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington), a Director and Past Chairman of the Community United Methodist Church Foundation (Naperville), and a former Director of Community First, Inc. (a not for profit corporation formed to promote architecturally-sensitive redevelopment of Naperville). Herb is a founding member and currently President of the Live Downtown Naperville Partnership, a committee of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce that promotes responsible redevelopment of the downtown Naperville area. He served for six years as a member of the Board of Directors of Cress Creek Country, during which he served as Chairman of the Building Committee and managed the recently completed $8.1 million reconstruction of the Club’s Club House, Bath House and Pump House facilities.

Herb holds degrees from Illinois Wesleyan University and the Harvard Law School.

Cory is an award winning Registered Architect, with over 20 years experience in residential, commercial and retail design and construction. He spent many years as a project manager in the Chicago area, where he oversaw the design and construction of residential, hotel, bank, restaurant, health care and retail facilities, with projects ranging from $100,000 to $10 million.

Over the past 15 years, Cory has earned a reputation for his designs for individual residential renovation and restoration projects, as well as new custom home design. He is responsible for the design and engineering of all Aspen Creek Partners projects, and is actively involved in the construction management activities of the firm.

His residential design work has been recognized and has received awards from Better Homes and Gardens and also from the Naperville Community First organization for both renovation and new construction designs that compliment neighborhood character.

Cory is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Naperville Chamber of Commerce and is a Director for the Cress Creek Homeowners Association.

Cory holds both a bachelors and masters degree in architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign.
